Privacy Policy for Setters Scheduler

Setters Scheduler is a Chrome extension that reads a volleyball league or tournament schedule PDF open in your browser tab and adds your team's games to Google Calendar. This page explains what data the extension accesses and how it's used.

What the extension accesses

• The active tab's PDF content — only when you click the extension icon while a schedule PDF is open. The PDF is read and parsed entirely inside your browser to find your team's games. It is never uploaded to any server.
• Your Google Calendar, via Google Sign-In, using two scopes:
  • calendar.calendarlist.readonly — to list your calendars so you can choose which one to add games to.
  • calendar.events — to create calendar events for the games you select, and to check for existing events with the same title so re-running the extension doesn't create duplicates.

What the extension does not do

• It does not send schedule PDFs, calendar data, or any other personal information to the developer or to any third-party server. All processing happens locally in your browser.
• It does not use analytics, tracking, or advertising services.
• It does not sell or share your data with anyone.

Data storage

• Your Google sign-in token is cached temporarily in chrome.storage.session, which is cleared automatically when your browser session ends.
• A few small preferences (your last-selected team and calendar) are saved locally on your device via chrome.storage.local so the extension remembers your choice next time. This data never leaves your device.

Setters Scheduler's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
